What is equity, really?

It’s the difference between what your home’s worth and what you still owe.

💡 Example:
Home value = $800,000
Mortgage balance = $500,000
= You’ve got $300,000 in equity just sitting there!
🔑 How to Use That Equity to Buy Your Next Property:

1️⃣ Get a Valuation
The bank will complete a formal valuation to determine your usable equity.

2️⃣ Work Out What You Can Access
You can usually borrow up to 80% of your home’s value without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

📊 Using our example:
80% of $800,000 = $640,000
$640,000 - $500,000 mortgage = ✅ $140,000 accessible equity

3️⃣ Create Your Investment Plan
