Reflecting on National Reconciliation Week, a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to consider how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in Australia.
At Community Bank Beaconsfield, we acknowledge the importance of listening, learning and building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. This year’s theme, “All In”, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day.
As part of this ongoing commitment, Bendigo Bank has launched its second Reconciliation Action Plan, the Innovate RAP 2026–2028. Building on the foundations of its Reflect RAP launched in 2023, the new plan outlines a strengthened commitment to embedding reconciliation throughout the organisation and working alongside First Nations peoples and communities to support meaningful, community-led change.
The Innovate RAP focuses on building authentic relationships, embedding respect and creating opportunities through initiatives including strengthening cultural competency, improving career pathways, supporting First Nations-owned businesses and continuing to elevate First Nations voices across the organisation and community.
