For many clients, the hardest part of buying a home is not always the ability to service the loan.

It’s getting the deposit together.

With HAS, eligible clients may be able to purchase with as little as a 2.5% deposit, with no genuine savings requirement.

The HAS second mortgage component is interest only and fixed for 5 years, with loan terms of up to 30 years.
This gives brokers another option to support clients who may have strong income and borrowing capacity, but are struggling to overcome the deposit hurdle.

Our CEO, Beth Comino, co-created Financial Literacy Education with Victoria Coster from Credit FIX Solutions, from a shared belief that practical financial education needs to start earlier.

We are living in a time where young people are exposed to financial content every day — often through social media, influencers and platforms like TikTok.

Some of that content may be helpful, but not all of it provides the full picture. That is why education needs to be there first.

Financial Literacy Education was created to help young Australians build practical understanding around budgeting, saving, credit, loans, superannuation and the foundations of home ownership — before they are faced with major financial decisions.

We’ve simplified things at HAS to ensure brokers feel well equipped to explain shared equity to their clients.

Through our Broker Academy, brokers can access practical tools and resources including product policies, flyers, TMDs, marketing materials, submission instructions and SmartShare support tools.

We’ve also built in client-friendly materials to help support clearer conversations and stronger understanding.

It is very easy to register because when brokers have the right tools, clients feel more confident in the journey.
