About us
Spencer Fuller and Associates has had a long and successful history within the greater Bathurst region. The early components of the Practice started under the leadership of Marian Spencer in the 1970’s as an Agency Office of the then Insurance Company Temperance & General, or T&G. T&G Mutual Life Assurance Society, amalgamated with National Mutual in the 1990’s which was then purchased by AXA and then most recently by AMP in 2011 creating the largest Australian network of Financial Advisers.
In 1987 David Fuller started his own Practice, David Fuller and Associates and worked in the same offices as Marian Spencer as an Agent for National Mutual. As the traditional insurance industry changed and started to develop into the current Financial Planning industry, Marian and David joined forces in the mid 1990s and so created Spencer Fuller and Associates.
After a long and outstanding career Marian retired in 2005 and David continued to grow and develop the Practice into a provider of exceptional wealth management advice.
From here, David further expanded the Practice, with Bernard Begg, Mark Anderson and Nathan Hudson looking after the Bathurst/Orange offices while Andrew Whelan, Gareth Adams, James Tang and now Stuart Gilchrist joining the new Sydney office.
