Over the weekend, our GoodLoop Mutual and Community Bank teams came together to celebrate the people behind the work we do every day.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, unwind and strengthen the relationships that help us deliver the best possible outcomes for our members, customers and communities.

At Community Bank Batemans Bay, we’re proud to be supporting Jeans for Genes Day by hosting a Bake It Blue fundraiser to help raise vital funds for children’s medical research.

🖤💛❤️ This NAIDOC Week, we proudly celebrate the history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year's theme, "50 Years of Deadly," marks an important milestone, celebrating five decades of honouring First Nations voices, cultures, resilience and leadership. It is an opportunity to reflect on the past, celebrate the present and look towards a future built on respect, understanding and reconciliation.

At Community Bank Batemans Bay, we're proud to support stronger, more inclusive communities and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

On the weekend, Community Bank Batemans Bay were thrilled to attend the Bay Tigers Indigenous Day as a proud sponsor.

It was a wonderful day celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, community and connection, while bringing people together through the spirit of local football.

There’s no better way to start the day than with a sunrise over Batemans Bay and a room full of local business leaders.

This morning our Business Development Manager, Sarah attended the Rotary Batemans Bay Business Breakfast at Corrigans Cove, where Teresa Lever from Eurobodalla Shire Council shared insights into the power of activations and how they can help create vibrant spaces, attract visitors, and support local businesses.

It was encouraging to hear the ideas and perspectives from businesses across our region. Conversations like these highlight what can be achieved when council, community organisations and local businesses work together towards a shared vision.

Thank you to Rotary Batemans Bay for hosting another fantastic event. I look forward to seeing these ideas continue to shape the future of our local community.
