They came to us for more hands and we gave them a cloud migration instead. 📦 ➡️ ☁️

Ten years ago, Storage King (tag their instagram if they have one) asked us to help process a mountain of supplier bills. For them, the obvious answer was more people.

BUT we looked closer first.

What we found: those bills were being keyed in by hand, one at a time, into a desktop accounting system. Across every site in Australia and New Zealand. For a fast growing company, that is not just slow...that is a control gap!

More hands would have meant more people doing the wrong process, slightly faster.

So we moved them to the cloud, brought in accounts automation across every site at once, and built a dedicated team that is still embedded in their finance operation today.

Since 2014. Before werk:out even had its name.
