As Cyclone Alfred approaches, we want to ensure that everyone is well-prepared to stay safe and minimise potential damage. Please take the time to secure your property, remove any loose outdoor items, and check your emergency supplies.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) have advised the category two system, is expected to make landfall either on Thursday or Friday.
Key Considerations
✅ Secure Loose Items – Outdoor furniture, umbrellas, and any unsecured objects.
✅ Communicate with Residents and neighbours
✅ Draw up a Home Emergency Plan that includes where everyone in your family will go if evacuated, and how to contact each other if you are separated
✅ Put together an Emergency Pack, including a power bank so you can keep your phone charged.
✅Trim branches and secure outdoor items.
✅ To assist with potential future claims, take photos of your assets.
