There is a moment in this job that never feels ordinary and is always a highlight of my day.

The settlement call.

"Congratulations, your loan has settled!"

I've made hundreds of these calls over eleven years and every one of them feels the same. Amazing. Because on the other end of that phone is someone whose life just changed. A family who gets to stop renting. A person who did something they weren't sure was possible. Someone who is about to pick up a set of keys that now belong to them.

If you have an offset account, itโ€™s worth checking that it is actually reducing the interest charged on your home loan. ๐Ÿ”

Weโ€™ve created a free Offset Interest Check that uses figures from your loan and offset account statements to give you a quick estimate of:
