🎒 WACKY WEDNESDAY | BACK TO SCHOOL! ✏️🤣

The school holidays are officially over, the kids are back in the classroom and peace and quiet has finally been restored… or has it?! 🤭

Apparently, someone thought it would be a good idea to send the NJK girls back to school too! 📚😂

Unfortunately, we’ve already had reports of:

✈️ Paper planes flying across the classroom

🤪 Disruptive behaviour from the back row

✏️ Students not taking their lessons seriously

🫧 Bubblegum being blown during class

🙋‍♀️ And absolutely nobody listening to the teacher!

We’re starting to think the NJK girls might be harder to manage than the kids! 🤣

Thankfully, we’re much better at finance than following classroom rules! 🏡💰

✨ FUN FACT FRIDAY ✨

The girl behind Wacky Wednesday! 🤪

What started as a few funny images being shared in our private group chat somehow resulted in Bianca being called in for a meeting… because apparently they were too funny not to share with our amazing community! 😂

And just like that, Wacky Wednesday was born!

Each week, the girls throw around their weird and wonderful ideas, and then B works her AI magic to bring them to life ✨🤖

We honestly love nothing more than giving everyone a laugh, and we especially love when people ask us, “What’s this week’s Wacky Wednesday going to be?”

Haha… you’ll just have to wait and see! 😅

And if you’ve ever visited us in the office, you may have spotted the back of our office door 👀 That’s where our Wacky Wednesday creations live, our very own little wall of wackiness! It’s always a good conversation starter and gives our visitors a laugh too 😂

🕰️ Wacky Wednesday #8: Daylight Saving Survival Mode ⏰😵‍💫

Monday was a public holiday, yesterday was our first day back AND our first work day since the clocks changed… apparently that was all it took to completely throw the NJK office out 🤣

The day absolutely flew by, and just as we were all thinking, “Okay, still another hour to get everything done…”

Someone realised.

Ummm… nope. It was home time 🫣😂

Apparently our brains are still operating on pre-daylight-saving time ⏰

Throw in the final few days of school holidays for some of us, a public-holiday-shortened week and the usual NJK office chaos, and at this point we’re not entirely sure what day OR what time it is 😅☕️

Anyone else feeling a little out of whack this week, or is it just us?! 🤪

Today is all about celebrating one half of the duo behind NJK and one very special lady! 🥰

A great day out of the office for the NJK team! 💜

Yesterday we headed into the city for the Astute SA Member Day, a full day of learning, catching up and connecting with some of the people we work with across the finance industry.

We kicked things off at the Trade Expo, where we got to catch up face to face with a bunch of our BDM’s from around 16 different lenders. We work with many of these guys behind the scenes every day, so it’s always nice to put the emails and phone calls aside and actually have a chat in person! 🙌

Then it was into a fantastic line up of sessions with industry experts and strategic partners, covering everything from property market insights and asset finance opportunities to equipment & EV values, general insurance and succession planning.

Days like these are a great opportunity for us to step away from the day to day, keep learning, strengthen our lender relationships and come back to the office with even more knowledge and connections to help our clients 🏡🚗

A huge thank you to the Astute team, all of the speakers and all of the lender BDM’s who took the time to catch up with us throughout the day. We loved seeing you all! 💜

And thank you for making sure the NJK stationery cupboard is VERY well stocked… apparently you really can never have too many pens! 😂🖊️

Apparently the NJK girls have swapped finance broking for construction this week… and we’re not entirely sure anyone should trust us with the power tools 😂🔨
