Jo & Nickie are spending the next couple of days at the Astute Commercial & Equipment Finance Conference in Adelaide, catching up on all things commercial, equipment and business finance 📚🤝

Big news for small businesses 👏

The Instant Asset Write-Off has officially been made permanent, giving eligible small businesses certainty and confidence moving forward.

✔️ Businesses with an annual turnover under $10 million can now instantly deduct eligible asset purchases up to $20,000
✔️ No more waiting for year-to-year budget announcements or temporary extensions
✔️ Improved cash flow and less compliance stress for business owners

The government says this change will deliver around $890 million in cash flow support over the next five years, while also reducing paperwork and record keeping requirements.

If you’re a business owner considering upgrading equipment, vehicles, tools or technology — now could be a great time to plan ahead.
