🎉 I’m excited to share that I’ve been named an MPA Elite Women 2026 winner!

It’s been a big year of rebuild, growth and development for me, so to receive this recognition from Mortgage Professional Australia means a great deal.

The Elite Women list recognises women from across Australia who are making an impact in the mortgage and finance industry, and I’m incredibly proud to be named among this year’s 77 winners.

Building The Broker Insight | Nectar Mortgages Albury has been a huge journey. There’s been plenty of hard work and learning along the way, but also some fantastic relationships, opportunities and milestones that have made it all worthwhile.

A huge thank you to my clients who trust me with some of their biggest financial decisions, to my industry colleagues and referral partners, and to the Nectar Mortgages Canberra team and wider Nectar network for the support and encouragement.

🏡✨ Not every home loan is straightforward — and that’s where experience matters.

This week involved working through a complex self-employed construction application for a remote lifestyle property 🌿🏗️

The file included:
✔ one year financials
✔ flood-affected trading figures
✔ valuation conditions
✔ servicing reassessment
✔ construction lending complexity

Rather than stopping at the first hurdle, we worked collaboratively with the lender, accountant, valuer, and all parties involved to unpack the real story behind the numbers and keep the application progressing 👏

Great mortgage broking is about more than just interest rates.

💜 Mindful May 🌿
May is the perfect month to slow down, reset, and check in with yourself — not just your calendar.
We spend so much of the year rushing from one thing to the next: work, family, deadlines, appointments, emails, life admin… and somewhere in the middle of all that, our own wellbeing can quietly slip to the bottom of the list.
So this is your gentle reminder to create a little more space this month.
Space to breathe.
Space to pause.
Space to say no without guilt.
Space to notice what is actually working — and what might need a little attention.
Mindfulness doesn’t have to mean meditating for an hour or completely overhauling your routine. Sometimes it’s as simple as:
🌿 taking five deep breaths before opening your emails
🌿 going for a walk without your phone
🌿 drinking your coffee while it’s still hot
🌿 checking in with your finances instead of avoiding them
🌿 asking for help before you feel completely overwhelmed
This May, try choosing one small mindful habit that helps you feel calmer, clearer and more in control.
Because looking after yourself isn’t indulgent — it’s part of building a life that actually feels good to live.
