*Warning for Sheep Producers - Cowpea Aphid*

📍We are seeing Cowpea Aphids throughout the shire on medic, vetch, lucerne and other pulse crops.
📍Livestock grazing these pastures infested with cowpea aphid can result in severe photosensitisation which can present like ‘sunburn’. Can lead to permanent eye damage and blindness in adult sheep.
