Ever wondered why you might have known us as Tassie Mortgage Broker or Whitsunday Mortgage Broker before we became Luna Mortgage Broker? 🏡

It's because those two places are my home bases! I love helping locals buy their first homes in Tassie, and I cherish my regular holidays in the beautiful Whitsundays. But as our business grew purely through word-of-mouth, we found ourselves helping clients in Sydney, Grafton, Victoria, Queensland, and all over Australia. The location-based names started to get a bit confusing for our mainland clients, which is why we brought everything under the national banner of Luna Mortgage Broker. We're still the same local team with the same down-to-earth service—just with a new look that embraces our whole national community.

🚨 Big News – Help to Buy Scheme Gets the Go-Ahead! 🚨

The Australian Government's Help to Buy scheme is officially rolling out, helping 40,000 households buy a home with a smaller deposit and mortgage! 🏡✨

Eligible buyers will only need a 2% deposit to purchase a home. For example, you could buy a $500,000 home with just $10,000 in savings and a loan of $350,000! 🙌

Changes announced as part of the 2025-26 Budget mean the scheme will open for applications later this year, once state legislation is passed. Queensland is already on board, and Victoria is in the process of passing its laws.
