Exciting News!!!

As of July 1st, QME Supplies was incorporated into the TCS Norbar business. This decision expands TCS Norbar’s presence in the tooling/service market. QME aligned well with TCS Norbar’s core business and overall sense of purpose centred on providing excellent quality products and services. This decision is a testament to the outstanding team at both QME and TCS Norbar, the rapidly growing tool/service market, and the products and services both companies have developed.

We are excited about the potential this unlocks in the years to come. With QME’s 25-year history of providing great service and products in the Mackay region; TCS Norbar’s 40 plus years of experience around Australia and New Zealand, along with its growing sales force and a strong workshop presence, all leads to an excellent fit.

Engineering to Order

This image shows an unique double sided reaction arm with two Pneutorques attached.

One drive socket provides the reaction for the other allowing simultaneous tightening of both bolts.

5AR with an engineered chain wrench attached. The boys onsite call it "The Beast".

The riser pipe has an OD of approximately 169mm behind the threaded section (i.e. where the chain tong will wrap around) and we are required to strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s recommended make up torque. For this particular riser pipe there is an ‘optimum’ torque setting of 500ft/lbs and we need to repeat this process on around 50 joints.
