One of the most common things I hear is:

“I didn’t think we’d get approved.”

Recently I worked with buyers who thought their situation was too complex because of multiple incomes and existing commitments.

Once we unpacked the structure, reviewed lender options, and mapped out the deposit strategy, they were in a much stronger position than expected.

The right lender strategy can completely change what’s possible.
It’s rarely about “can’t”. It’s usually about “not with the first lender you tried”.

You might still qualify for a home loan even if:

✔️ you work multiple casual jobs
✔️ part of your income is overtime
✔️ you’ve recently changed roles
✔️ one partner is on parental leave
✔️ you’ve got HECS or Zip
✔️ you’re self-employed

A lot of buyers rule themselves out way too early.

Different lenders assess income very differently.

I recently helped a buyer using income from multiple jobs, and they were in the market far sooner than they expected.

Most people think they need $150,000 saved to buy a home.

That’s one of the biggest myths keeping buyers stuck.

Depending on the purchase price, some buyers can get in with:

✨ family guarantee
✨ gifted funds
✨ stamp duty concessions

I’m finding a lot of Adelaide buyers are actually much closer than they realise.

The hardest part is usually not the deposit.
It’s understanding what strategy suits your situation.

🏡 Not every path into the property market looks the same.
I recently worked with a client who was determined to get in but didn’t fit the typical box.

Most people would assume that makes it too hard.
