Last week, Friday 9 October, Pride Advice was proud to be Gold Sponsor of the Adelaide University Sport & Fitness 130 Years Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

130 years of backing athletes, and a room full of past champions alongside the next generation coming through.

One of the most common things we hear from police approaching retirement: "it'll sort itself out." The reality is that some police super decisions can't be undone.

Take commuting a defined benefit (converting it to a lump sum): once that choice is made, it can't be reversed. Whether it's the right move depends on your scheme and your situation, so it's worth talking it through before you finish up, with someone who understands police super.
