Backing our communities looks like this.

This year, through our Community Reward Account program, we shared donations worth over $910,000 to more than 480 community organisations and charities.

The Childhood Cancer Association. was one of them.

These donations are funding 12 Hospital Support Packs for children and their families. Filled with essential items, these packs help make unexpected hospital stays a little more comfortable.

On 29 September 2026, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) announced an increase of 0.25% to the cash rate. This has resulted in a decision to increase our interest rates, to enable us to remain sustainable and competitive, and align our products to market conditions.

As a result, Beyond Bank is increasing interest rates by:
0.25% for variable owner-occupier and investor loans
0.25% for variable commercial loans.

The variable loan rate increase is effective from Tuesday, 13 October 2026.

We have also made adjustments to our savings rates.

Scam warning.

We have been made aware of a scam impersonating the Beyond Bank Fraud Team that is targeting Beyond Bank members.

Those targeted will receive a phone call claiming to be a representative from the “Beyond Bank Fraud Team”.

In this phone call they will:
▪️tell you that your account is compromised
▪️urge you to follow their directive and act immediately
▪️ask for confirmation of your member number
▪️send an SMS code and ask you to read it back to them.

That SMS code is a security credential. Sharing it could give a scammer access to your account.

If you receive a phone call of a similar nature, it is a scam.

Remember: Beyond Bank will never ask you to disclose SMS verification codes or security credentials over the phone. If in doubt, hang up and call us directly on 13 25 85.

Last week, Community Development Manager Bron Anderson joined Legacy Club of South Australia & Broken Hill for a 1,500km road trip across South Australia for 2026 Legacy Week!

They kicked their trip off in Adelaide, making their way across the state to Broken Hill (BH).

Legacy SA & BH’s mission is to make sure that the families of Australian veterans will always have support and connection in their communities.

This is the inaugural Legacy Week Road Trip for Legacy SA & BH, raising funds and awareness for the programs and services they provide to veterans and their families.

This includes financial, medical and mental health support, education and development, advocacy, and fostering connection within their community of veterans, their families and loved ones.
