Baker Tilly International terminates cooperation with member firms in Russia and Belarus from their global network. This decision is a direct consequence of these governments, and not the individuals of these countries.

Separating firms in Russia and Belarus will understandably take some time. As we begin this process, we pledge to do right by our colleagues and our clients to mitigate the impact of this transition.
We remain focused on the safety and wellbeing of our team members and their families in Ukraine. We are mobilizing financial and logistical support to ease their suffering, and we are continuing to raise critical funds for organizations providing direct humanitarian aid.

Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine, and we join the world in the hope for peace.

Welcome two more new partners at TPA Austria in 2022: Nina Putz and Bernd Wöber!

Nina Putz specialised in tax law during her business studies at the WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien). After graduating, her path led directly to TPA Steuerberatung. The tax advisor and auditor also completed the special course in financial criminal law and procedural law at the Academy for Certified Public Accountants.

Bernd: In addition to ongoing consulting, the experienced tax all-rounder has specialised in the areas of legal form design, reorganisations as well as business succession. The Krems native studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, where he quickly specialised in accounting and tax law. As a former national youth champion, his passion remains tennis.

Congratulations to TPA Czech Republic - winning at the 'Tax Advisor & Tax Firm of the Year' awards for the 5th time and is the best employer in taxes! 🏆🍾💪 And this was not the only award TPA won in the competition: The tax firm’s other achievements were supported by Jana Skálová taking first place in the Top Tax Personality of the Year – Business Tax category and Jiri Hlavac taking the Tax Star of the Year – DIRECT TAX category.

A great success for our Czech tax experts! Congratulations to all the nominees and those honored in this year’s edition!

The Tax Advisor & Tax Firm of the Year competition by Wolters Kluwer CZ has been held since 2010 and is the only competition of this type in the Czech Republic. The aim of the competition is to select the best tax specialists, tax personalities and to choose the most client-friendly tax offices. This year, the announcement of the competition took place online via the MS Teams platform in connection with the measures related to the pandemic of Covid-19.

Welcome our new partner at TPA Austria: René Ebenwaldner, who was born in Carinthia and works at the Hermagor office, became a partner on 1 January.
The tax all-rounder has a diverse advising portfolio: In addition to ongoing tax consulting, his focus is on business planning and analyses, start-up consulting, business transfers and financial criminal proceedings. René Ebenwaldner graduated from the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz with a degree in law, specialising in finance and tax law. The Carinthian tax advisor is also a trained financial penal and procedural law expert. In 2003 he started his career at TPA in Klagenfurt and has been working at the TPA office in Hermagor since 2004.

Wir freuen uns, unseren neuen TPA Partner vorstellen zu können: Renè Ebenwaldner. Der gebürtige Kärntner und am Standort in Hermagor tätige Steuerberater ist per 1. Jänner zum Partner avanciert.

Der Steuer-Allrounder verfügt über ein vielfältiges Beratungsportfolio: Neben der laufenden Steuerberatung liegen seine Schwerpunkte auf Unternehmensplanungen und -analysen, Gründungsberatung, Unternehmensübergaben und Finanzstrafverfahren. René Ebenwaldner hat an der Karl-Franzens Universität Graz das Studium der Rechtswissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Finanz- und Steuerrecht absolviert. Der Kärntner Steuerberater ist außerdem ausgebildeter Finanzstraf- und Verfahrensrechtexperte. 2003 startete er seine Karriere bei TPA in Klagenfurt und ist seit 2004 am TPA Standort in Hermagor tätig.
