As we reflect upon the transformative journey that 2023 has been for Exploraplay, I am filled with gratitude and excitement to share our remarkable achievements and growth.
Surviving the challenges posed by the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic served as a testament to our resilience. Since 2022, our workshop and projects have experienced exponential growth, and this year has been a pinnacle in overcoming various hurdles.
Notably, we successfully produced our first overseas export for the Chevel Blanc hotel, a collaboration with LVMH hotels and World Wide Kids in Seychelles. The expansion of our front office design team, bolstered by a talented new design team, marked a significant stride in supporting our customized design projects. Additionally, strategic hires, including a quality control manager, construction drawing leader, and administrative support staff, have further fortified our operational capabilities.
Within our workshop team, we welcomed skilled craftsmen in the wood and finishing division, steel workers, and fitters, enhancing our capacity for delivering high-quality projects.
A milestone was achieved through our partnership with PT Explora Kreasi Nusantara and the Austrian-based European TAU Tsang AUSSTATTUNG & UMGEBUNG e.U. The collaboration opened doors to the German-speaking market, as evidenced by our participation in the first exhibition in Innsbruck, Austria, focused on gastronomy and the hotel sector.
Our commitment to excellence is underscored by signing one of our largest contracts for the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi, where we will create a new 1200sqm kids club. Additionally, we are honored to contribute to the design of Jakarta's Children Museum, KIN space—a uniquely themed Indonesian cultural-based education and learning center for children.
I extend heartfelt thanks to our clients, partners, and, in particular, World Wide Kids, for their unwavering support, collaborative projects, and the freedom to pursue our passion—designing the most creative and innovative indoor and outdoor playgrounds.
On a personal note, I express deep gratitude to my parents, Henry & Donna Tsang, and my brother Clement Tsang, whose investment in Exploraplay and continual love and encouragement have been instrumental in our success. A special acknowledgment goes to our amazing team in Jakarta, Indonesia, whose dedication and growth have been pivotal in positioning Exploraplay where it stands today.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges that the future holds for Exploraplay.
