Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմի բնապահպանության վարչության պետ Սիրարփի Հայկազյանն էլ տեղեկացրեց, որ Ասիական զարգացման բանկի ֆինանսավորմամբ իրականացվում է Հրազդան կիրճի, Հրազդան գետի և Երևանյան լճի հարակից տարածքների բարեկարգման և ռեկրեացիոն գոտու ստեղծման ծրագիրը։

Բնապահպանության վարչության պետը նաև տեղեկացրեց, որ առաջիկա մեկ-երկու ամիսների ընթացքում Ասիական զարգացման բանկի ֆինանսավորմամբ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը ձեռք կբերի հատուկ սարքավորում, որը հնարավորություն կտա իրականացնել ջրի մակերեսի մեխանիկական մաքրում և միաժամանակ ջրի նմուշառում՝ հիմնական աղտոտիչների կազմը պարզելու նպատակով։

📌 ADB Advances Preparation of Electric Urban Mobility Project in Armenia

🇦🇲 Ս․թ․ հուլիսի 23ից օգոստոսի 6-ը #ԱԶԲ-ն Հայաստանում իրականացրեց Էլեկտրական, դիմակայուն, կանաչ և արդյունավետ տրանսպորտի միջոցով շարժունակության բարելավման (EMERGE) ծրագրի նախապատրաստման առաքելություն։ Առաքելությունը համախմբեց ԱԶԲ-ին, ՀՀ ֆինանսների նախարարությանը, Երևանի քաղաքապետարանին և Ծրագրի իրականացման խմբին՝ ծրագրի նախապատրաստումն առաջ մղելու և ծրագրի շրջանակը, ֆինանսավորման ծրագիրն ու իրականացման մեխանիզմները համաձայնեցնելու նպատակով։ Քննարկումները ներառում էին ծրագրի նախագծումը, կլիմայական դիմակայունությունը, գնումները, երաշխիքային միջոցառումները, ֆինանսավորումը և ծրագրի պատրաստվածությունը։ Առաքելության շրջանակում իրականացվեցին նաև այցելություններ ծրագրի տարածքներ և քննարկվեց Երևանում կայուն, կլիմայի նկատմամբ դիմակայուն և ցածր ածխածնային քաղաքային շարժունակության լուծումների զարգացման հաջորդ քայլերը։

On 23 July–6 August 2026, ADB conducted a fact-finding mission for the Empowering Mobility through Electric, Resilient, Green and Efficient Transport (EMERGE) project in Armenia. The mission brought together ADB, the Ministry of Finance, Yerevan Municipality, and the Project Implementation Unit to advance project preparation and agree on the project scope, financing plan, and implementation arrangements. Discussions covered project design, climate resilience, procurement, safeguards, financing, and project readiness. The mission also included site visits and discussions on a Memorandum of Understanding outlining next steps to support sustainable, climate-resilient, and low-carbon urban mobility solutions in Yerevan.

📌 ADB Advances Discussions on Regional Connectivity and Strategic Infrastructure in Armenia

🇦🇲 Ս․թ․ հուլիսի 30–31-ը #ԱԶԲ հայաստանի մշտական առաքելության պատվիրակությունը՝ տնօրեն Լյազիզա Սաբիրովայի գլխավորությամբ այցելեց Շիրակի և Լոռու մարզեր՝ գնահատելու Գյումրու չոր նավահանգստի և հատուկ տնտեսական գոտու առաջարկվող ծրագրի նախապատրաստման առաջընթացը, ուսումնասիրելու Վրաստանի հետ տարածաշրջանային կապերի ամրապնդման հնարավորությունները՝ Գոգավանի սահմանային անցակետի միջոցով, և վերանայելու Սեյսմիկ անվտանգության բարելավման ծրագրի իրականացումը։ Առաքելությունը հանդիպումներ ունեցավ կառավարության գործընկերների և շահագրգիռ կողմերի հետ՝ քննարկելով ծրագրերի նախապատրաստման և իրականացման առաջմղման քայլերը և վերահաստատելով ԱԶԲ-ի հանձնառությունը Հայաստանի ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացմանը, տարածաշրջանային կապակցվածության ամրապնդմանը և դիմակայուն սոցիալական ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացմանը։

On 30–31 July 2026, a mission led by the Country Director of ADB’s Armenia Resident Mission visited Shirak and Lori regions to assess progress on the proposed Gyumri Dry Port and Special Economic Zone, explore opportunities to strengthen regional connectivity with Georgia through the Gogavan Border Crossing Point, and review implementation of the Seismic Safety Improvement Program. The mission engaged with government counterparts and stakeholders and discussed actions to advance project preparation and implementation, reaffirming ADB’s commitment to Armenia’s infrastructure development, regional connectivity, and resilient social infrastructure.

📌 ADB and Ministry of Finance Strengthen Partnership at Annual Retreat

🇦🇲 Ս․թ․ օգոստոսի 9-ին #ԱԶԲ հայաստանի մշտական առաքելությունն և ՀՀ ֆինանսների նախարարությունը համատեղ աշխատաժողով են անցկացրել՝ գործընկերությունն ամրապնդելու, համագործակցությունն խորացնելու և մասնագիտական ու անձնական կապերն խորացնելու նպատակով։ Միջոցառման բացման խոսքում #ԱԶԲ Հայաստանի մշտական առաքելության տնօրեն Լյազիզա Սաբիրովան ընդգծել է աշխատաժողովի կարևորությունը վստահության և փոխըմբռնման ամրապնդման գործում՝ անդրադառնալով 2026 թ․ առաջին կիսամյակում համատեղ ձեռքբերված նշանակալի առաջընթացին և հետագա համագործակցության ծրագրին։ «Աճող գործընկերություն․ կենսաբազմազանություն, ժառանգություն և կայուն զարգացում» խորագրով աշխատաժողովը նաև արտացոլեց Հայաստանում բնապահպանական կայունության, կլիմայական դիմակայունության և ամուր գործընկերությունների խթանման ԱԶԲ-ի հանձնառությունը։

On 9 August 2026, ADB and the Ministry of Finance of Armenia held a joint retreat to strengthen partnership, deepen collaboration, and foster stronger professional and personal connections. Opening the event, ADB Armenia Country Director Lyaziza Sabyrova highlighted the retreat as an important opportunity to reinforce trust and mutual understanding, while recognizing the significant progress achieved together during the first half of 2026 and the strong pipeline of future cooperation. Held under the theme “Growing Partnerships: Biodiversity, Heritage, and Sustainable Development,” the retreat also reflected ADB’s commitment to environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and strong partnerships in Armenia.

📌 ADB Supports Studies to Advance Lake Yerevan and Hrazdan Gorge Rejuvenation

🇦🇲 #ԱԶԲ-ն աջակցում է Երևանի քաղաքապետարանին՝ խթանելու ավելի հարմարավետ, էկոլոգիապես կայուն և կլիմայի փոփոխություններին դիմակայուն քաղաքային պլանավորում՝ Երևանի լճի և Հրազդանի կիրճի վերականգնման ծրագրի շրջանակում։ Այս նպատակով Երևանի լճում իրականացվում են բաթիմետրիկ և գեոֆիզիկական հետազոտություններ, ինչպես նաև նստվածքների նմուշառում՝ նստվածքների բնութագրերի և բաշխվածության վերաբերյալ կարևոր տվյալներ հավաքագրելու համար։ Ստացված արդյունքները կնպաստեն Երևանի լճի և Հրազդանի կիրճի էկոլոգիական վիճակի վերականգնմանն ուղղված գնահատումներին։

ADB is supporting Yerevan Municipality in advancing more livable, environmentally sustainable, and climate-resilient urban planning through the Lake Yerevan and Hrazdan Gorge Rejuvenation Project. As part of this effort, bathymetric and geophysical surveys, together with sediment sampling, are underway at Lake Yerevan to generate critical data on sediment characteristics and distribution. The findings will support assessments to help restore the ecological health of Lake Yerevan and the Hrazdan Gorge.

📌 ARRM Staff Strengthen Integrity Awareness Through OAI Workshop

🇦🇲 Ս․թ․ հուլիսի 28-ին #ԱԶԲ հայաստանի մշտական առաքելության աշխատակիցները մասնակցեցին ԱԶԲ-ի Հակակոռուպցիոն և Բարեվարքության գրասենյակի կողմից անցկացված բարեվարքության թեմայով աշխատաժողովին։ Աշխատաժողովը թարմացրեց մասնակիցների գիտելիքները ԱԶԲ-ի Հակակոռուպցիոն և Բարեվարքության շրջանակի վերաբերյալ և բարձրացրեց իրազեկվածությունը ԱԶԲ-ի գործունեության շրջանակում բարեվարքության ռիսկերի մասին։ Ինտերակտիվ քննարկումների միջոցով մասնակիցներն ամրապնդեցին իրենց գիտելիքները բարեվարքության ռիսկերի, նախազգուշացնող ազդակների, հաղորդման մեխանիզմների և բարեվարքության հետ կապված հարցերի բացահայտման ու հաղորդման լավագույն փորձի վերաբերյալ՝ վերահաստատելով ԱԶԲ-ի հանձնառությունը հաշվետվողականության, էթիկական վարքագծի և բարեվարքության նկատմամբ։

On 28 July 2026, ADB Armenia Resident Mission staff participated in an Integrity Workshop conducted by ADB’s Office of Anticorruption and Integrity. The workshop refreshed participants’ understanding of ADB’s Anticorruption and Integrity Framework and strengthened awareness of integrity risks in ADB operations. Through interactive discussions, participants enhanced their knowledge of integrity risks, common red flags, reporting mechanisms, and good practices for identifying and reporting integrity-related concerns, reinforcing ADB’s commitment to accountability, ethical conduct, and integrity.

📌 ADB and Government Review Road Sector Priorities in Armenia

🇦🇲 Ս․թ․ հուլիսի 27–31-ը #ԱԶԲ-ն իրականացրեց «Ճանապարհային ոլորտի դիմակայուն և ներառական բարելավման ծրագրի» վերանայման առաքելությունը Հայաստանում։ Առաքելությունը համախմբեց ԱԶԲ-ի, Տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարարության, Ֆինանսների նախարարության և Ճանապարհային դեպարտամենտ հիմնադրամի ներկայացուցիչներին՝ ծրագրի իրականացման առաջընթացը գնահատելու, տրանսպորտային ներդրումային ծրագրերը քննարկելու և հետագա քայլերը համաձայնեցնելու նպատակով։ Քննարկումները կենտրոնացան Բարգուշատի թունելի նախագծի ֆինանսավորման, գնումների, ֆինանսական կառավարման և բնապահպանական ու սոցիալական երաշխիքների վրա։ Առաքելությունն ավարտվեց ծրագրի հետագա առաջմղման և Հայաստանում դիմակայուն, անվտանգ ու ներառական տրանսպորտային ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացմանն ուղղված համաձայնեցված քայլերով։

On 27–31 July 2026, ADB conducted a review mission for the Resilient and Inclusive Road Sector Improvement Project in Armenia. The mission brought together ADB, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Finance, and the Roads Department Fund to review implementation progress, discuss the transport investment pipeline, and agree on next steps. Discussions focused on financing arrangements for the Bargushat Tunnel Project, procurement, financial management, and safeguards. The mission concluded with agreed actions to advance resilient, safe, and inclusive transport infrastructure in Armenia.

📣 ADB is looking for an experienced national consultant to support implementation of the Health Care Quality Improvement Program.

The selected consultant will support the Ministry of Health and ADB in strengthening human resources for health as part of the Health Care Quality Improvement Program. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and strengthening health workforce licensing and examination processes
• Supporting development of a roadmap for individual licensing examinations
• Advancing gender-responsive human resource policies and leadership opportunities
• Assessing institutional capacity for digital health human resources
• Supporting implementation of health sector reforms in close collaboration with government and development partners

Required qualifications / expertise:
• Postgraduate degree in public health, health care management, or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in human resources for health
• Experience working with governments on health workforce reforms (post-Soviet region preferred)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English and Armenian
