Julien Schmitt, Program Director, EU4Innovation East: Julien has 20+ years of experience in strategy and development, collaborating with public and private sectors across Europe, South America, Africa, and the Middle East. He specializes in innovation, strategic planning, and internationalization. Fluent in six languages, he has worked with Expertise France for over eight years and is currently the Director of the EU4Innovation East Project.
Yelena Ambartsumian, Co-Chair, STAN New York Chapter: Yelena is a legal strategist and fractional general counsel dedicated to helping SaaS and AI-driven startups navigate the complex intersection of innovation and regulation. As an investor and advisor, she specializes in preparing early-stage companies for institutional capital by ensuring they have the governance and privacy foundations required to scale. As a STAN Angel, Yelena leverages her dual perspective as a certified legal expert and a former tech founder to help startups build defensible, compliant, and "investment-ready" businesses.
Ara Yeromian, Managing Director at Teachers' Venture Growth: he is responsible for executing TVG's strategy for direct investments in Europe where he leads fintech and Enterprise Software sector investments, working closely with companies including Alan, ComplyAdvantage, Vinted, Lendable and Quantexa. He partners with founders with bold missions, looking to expand their product offering, scale geographically, and become the leaders in their markets. Ara previously worked at Temasek, Ares Management and Credit Suisse.
