TG terms Regarding Safty .......
"Trans Gulf Technical Service committed to the health, safety and well being of its employees, clients, subcontractors and all other that may be impacted by the operations. TGT is also committed to the protection and improvement of the environment in which it operates.TGT will conduct all its work in accordance with the statutory or national requirements of the United Arab Emirates.
TGT recognizes that good health, safety and environmental performance is paramount and,
therefore, will provide all necessary funding to carry out its activities to ensure that all risks are minimized.
It will achieve this by:
Eliminating hazards, conditions and situations that give rise to potential accidents. Where this is not applicable then measures will be put in place to reduce these hazards to
manageable level.
Training employees in safe working practice and ensuring that this knowledge is regularly updated.
Regularly consulting with employees’ representatives on the matter of health and safety and stressing that continuous progress is the responsibility of management and employ
ees alike.
Ensuring employees to understand their duties under the health, safety and environmental legislation.
Providing safe working environment considering all the necessary protection of employees with regard to access and egress, machinery, lighting,housekeeping, safe working procedures and safe use of substances etc. Where this is not possible or applicable then
protective equipment will be provided to protect against the hazards identified.
Providing adequate first aid and fire lighting facilities
, as well as accident prevention and health surveillance, to improve standards of safety and reduce accidents and lost time.
Ensure that, equipment is left in a safe and secure position at all time when not in use.
Ensure that, where necessary the work site is protected with warning signs.
Ensure that, the work areas are kept clean and tidy.
Ensure that, any spillages are immediately cleaned up.
Ensure that all the waste materials are disposed in the correct place.
Work to instruction given by supervision of other persons in authority.
Wear any personal protective equipment issued to the employees and ensure it is in good condition.
Works in a safe manner at all times do not take necessary risk that might be dangerous to yourself and others.
Ensure employees are to obey company and site safety rules.
Conducting its business in an environmentally sensitive manner, taking appropriate steps to avoid causing environmental damage and reducing environmental impacts to a minimum when these are unavoidable.
Supervisor are also be responsible for ensuring that employees and other workmen under their control, are familiar with the current regulations mode safe of working and they follow the Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Incorporate safety inspections in routine orders and see that they are obeyed.
Reviewing and revising this policy at regular intervals"
