UAE Businesses: No Supplier Verification = No Input VAT Recovery!

From 1 Oct 2026, FTA Decision No. 13 of 2026 makes Supplier Verification mandatory before claiming Input VAT.

You must verify your supplier’s identity, trade license, place of business, and authorized person. For purchases over AED 375K, UAE bank account proof & reputation check is also required.

Verification is required on first dealing and every 12 months.

Non-compliance = VAT rejection.
