⚡️ELON MUSK TO BUILD MORE THAN 150 KILOMETRES OF TUNNELS IN THE UAE

Elon Musk’s The Boring Company has announced plans to develop more than 150 kilometres of underground transport infrastructure across the UAE. The project will be supported by a new $3 billion funding round led by UAE-backed entities

The new network will expand on the partnership launched through the Dubai Loop project. Its first phase will connect DIFC and Dubai Mall via a 6.4-kilometre route featuring four stations and capable of carrying around 13,000 passengers per day. The system is later expected to expand to 22.5 kilometres and 19 stations, linking Dubai World Trade Centre, the financial district and Business Bay

Passengers will travel through compact tunnels in electric vehicles. This technology allows underground routes to be built faster and at a lower cost, with less disruption to roads and existing urban infrastructure. The new agreement goes far beyond a single Dubai Loop project and could transform the UAE into the world’s largest international hub for Elon Musk’s transport system
