عبدالعزيز السلوم يستحوذ على 10% من أسهم GlobalPay الإماراتية لدعم التوسع الإقليمي

أعلنت شركة GlobalPay، التي تتخذ من الإمارات مقراً لها، استحواذ القيادي التقني السعودي المهندس عبدالعزيز السلوم على حصة 10% من أسهمها. وجرى توقيع الصفقة اليوم في مصر بحضور المهندس تامر شاور، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة، ضمن خطة استراتيجية لدعم التوسع الإقليمي في التكنولوجيا المالية والمدفوعات الرقمية.

تعمل GlobalPay كمظلة إقليمية في الإمارات، وتتواجد في مصر عبر "MasrPay – مصر باي" لحلول المدفوعات للتجار، وفي السعودية عبر تأسيسها لشركة "عالم الدفع – GlobalPay KSA" لتعزيز حضورها طويل الأجل في السوق السعودي.

ويمتلك المهندس السلوم خبرة واسعة بقطاع التحول الرقمي في المملكة؛ حيث قاد Duroob Technology وشغل منصب الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة AppsPro التي استحوذت عليها Accenture عام 2021.

وقال المهندس تامر شاور، الرئيس التنفيذي: "نحن نبني قاعدة مساهمين تساهم بالخبرة والمعرفة بالسوق لدعم النمو طويل الأجل جنباً إلى جنب مع رأس المال. نربط اليوم ما نبنيه في الإمارات ومصر بخططنا في السعودية، مع التركيز على أن يكون توسعنا مبنياً على خلق قيمة حقيقية للسوق والعملاء".

من جانبه، أضاف الأستاذ علي طه، رئيس قطاع الأعمال: "هذه شراكة تضيف قيمة حقيقية لمسيرتنا الرامية لربط الإمارات ومصر والسعودية في منظومة إقليمية متكاملة، وانضمام المهندس السلوم يدعم بقوة هذه الرؤية".
