Mark my words. After Reliance and BJP, Elon Musk's next big question for India could be the EVM.

In June 2024 Musk posted that electronic voting machines should go, because even a small hacking risk is too high. Rahul Gandhi called the EVM a black box. BJP's Rajeev Chandrasekhar replied that India's EVMs are standalone and not connected to the internet.

VVPAT checks, the Supreme Court verdict and the Kolkata EVM fire keep this debate alive. EVM tampering has never been proven in court. And Starlink India is still waiting for clearance.

EVM or ballot paper, which do you trust?

One year ago, crypto had its worst night ever. And most people have already forgotten it.

On October 10, 2025, over $19 billion in leveraged positions were wiped out in 24 hours. More than 1.6 million trader accounts. $3.2 billion disappeared in a single minute.

Bitcoin dropped 14%. Ethereum 12%. XRP fell 37% within an hour, Solana more than 30%, and Dogecoin went from 22 cents to 11 cents. On Binance, SUI slid 83% and ATOM briefly showed $0.001. Apps froze, orders failed, and people could not get out.

The ones holding Bitcoin still have it today. Many futures traders lost everything.

Were you trading that night? Tell us in the comments.

Dhruv Rathee German citizen or Indian citizen? I got this one wrong too.

Let me be clear. I'm not a fan of Dhruv Rathee and I don't agree with most of what he says. But for a long time I believed what everyone was saying: that Dhruv Rathee has a German passport and is a foreign citizen commenting on Indian politics.

Turns out he holds an Indian passport.

This is a perfect example of how rumours work. We hear something on social media, on news channels, in WhatsApp forwards, and we repeat it without checking. Rumours are one thing. Facts are another.

Disagree with anyone you want, but do it on facts. Did you believe this rumour too? Dhruv Rathee

Is Starlink really a national security threat to India, or is it a threat to Jio's market?

Think about your day. Instagram in the morning, Google Maps on the way to work, Microsoft and LinkedIn at the office, YouTube at night. All American apps. Our data already travels abroad. Yet only Starlink is being called a data privacy and national security risk.

China and Russia don't allow Starlink, but they also block Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp. India doesn't. Even Jio and Airtel's satellite internet runs with foreign partners, SES and OneWeb.

Elon Musk calls Ambani's online defenders "internet shills". What do you think?

What happens when the internet goes off?

Mobile internet was suspended around Jantar Mantar in Delhi, and people lost contact with friends and family. But some apps work without any internet at all.

BitChat, created by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, uses a Bluetooth mesh network. Your message hops from one phone to the next until it reaches the right person. No WiFi, no mobile data, fully encrypted. Briar and Bridgefy work on the same idea.

And here's the twist: BitChat now has a built-in ecash wallet, so Bitcoin-backed tokens can move phone to phone offline.

Elon Musk vs Reliance has entered a new chapter.

Days after his "Dear Prime Minister Ambani" post, Musk has shared two news screenshots on X. The first is a 2022 Al Jazeera report on political ads run on Facebook by a Reliance-funded firm. The second is a 2024 report that Qwik Supply, a Reliance-linked company, gave Rs 385 crore to BJP through electoral bonds.

Reliance has said Qwik Supply is not its subsidiary, and electoral bonds were legal at that time.

Most businessmen stay quiet to protect their business. Musk clearly isn't. What happens next?

Remember when Trump slapped an extra 25% tariff on India for buying Russian oil? Now Trump himself has announced a huge Russian diesel deal after a call with Vladimir Putin.

Russia is set to supply 300,000 tons right away, 500,000 tons in November, then 1 million tons, and up to 3 million tons later. This comes as US diesel prices hit an all-time record and the global diesel shortage hits truckers, farmers and every supply chain.

So what are sanctions really? Rules for everyone else, exceptions for America. And it all works because the world runs on the US dollar.

Is the dollar the real source of US power? Share your thoughts below.

"Dear Prime Minister Ambani." That is how Elon Musk opened his latest post on X, and India is talking.

Musk says he didn't realize Mukesh Ambani is the "real boss of India" and asks whether Starlink can be allowed to compete. He also says Starlink can bring internet to villages, help students learn, help small businesses reach global markets, and keep people connected during floods and disasters.

Many people are comparing Starlink's Rs 8,600 dish plan with Jio's Rs 350 mobile plan. But that is home internet vs phone internet. Starlink Mobile connects your phone directly to a satellite, and that one announcement moved US telecom stocks by 7%.

So who is right? Team Ambani or Team Elon? Tell us in the comments.

09/10/2026

One Elon Musk announcement and AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile shares fell 7%.

The reason? SpaceX says Starlink will become a full mobile carrier. Starlink Mobile uses satellites as cell towers in the sky, and a normal 4G phone can connect directly. New satellites from 2027 promise 100 times better service.

Now look at India. Starlink first opened bookings here in 2021. Five years later, it is still waiting for final security clearance. In 2024, Reliance Jio pushed for a satellite spectrum auction, and Musk joked on X that he would call and ask for permission to compete.

Will Starlink replace Jio and Airtel one day?

Elon Musk vs Ambani, Part 3. The Starlink India story just took a big political turn.

Rahul Gandhi quoted Elon Musk's post on X and wrote, "Welcome to India, Elon. Wait till you discover the other guy." Elon replied, "Thank you, Rahul. This is indeed troubling."

This started with Musk asking why Starlink, licensed in over 165 countries, is still waiting in India. Now it has become one of the most talked about tech debates in the country.

Let me be clear. I don't support any political party. I support good leaders, healthy competition and new technology for India.

My prediction: Starlink will get the approval. What do you think? 👇
