A morning of shared perspectives, meaningful conversations and community connection as we marked Emirati Women’s Day at AWR Group.

Held under this year’s theme, ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better’, our gathering welcomed Dr. Nadia Al Sayegh, Owner of Senses Residential & Day Care for Special Needs, who joined colleagues to share her reflections on the occasion and the experiences that have shaped her journey.

The event also brought the work of Senses Center into focus, with a dedicated space showcasing educational resources and products created by its students — offering colleagues an opportunity to discover and support the work of an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people of determination.

As the UAE’s month-long commemoration continues, we were proud to create a moment that brought together reflection, connection and community around the spirit of Emirati Women’s Day.

Across AWR Group, the next phase of our digital transformation is taking shape through a structured approach to Data & AI - connecting technology, business priorities and our people around where AI can create meaningful value.

Under our Vision 2030 transformation agenda, we are building AI capability across the Group while exploring practical applications spanning customer intelligence, operational optimisation, forecasting, workflow automation and knowledge management.

More than 350 colleagues have already engaged in the programme, supported by enterprise AI platforms, including our internally developed AWR SPARK, alongside a clear framework for governance, data protection and responsible use.

The direction is deliberate: moving AI from adoption to application, and application towards measurable business value.

As the UAE’s month-long Emirati Women’s Day commemoration continues, Eman AlBastaki, Director of Emiratisation and Government Relations at AWR Group, shares her perspective in the August issue of Gulf Business on developing the next generation of Emirati talent through trust, exposure and meaningful opportunity.
