Ikigai (生き甲斐, a reason for being) is a Japanese concept referring to something that gives a person a sense of purpose, a reason for living.

The above is taken from Wikipedia on this word ikigai 生き甲斐, chance upon this while my 5th day in Japan. After Tokyo, ShiragawaGo and now Takayama. Life only hapened once and let’s make it work 🤗

Life should non negotiable goals, that give you reasons to push forward, not settling for anything less. While taking a break from work, I am rethinking my own ikigai 生き甲斐 .So what’s yours?
