"There is room for everyone at the top"
I am surprised that most of the time people want to compete with you or copy what the next person is doing not knowing one can actually become renowned in whatever they do so long there are in their area of calling.
This other day, I was having a conversation with my wife Edith, and she said to me, there is something I realised and she went to unpack this mystery. So at home, there is a time when we tiling the land to prepare to grow maize. So when the maize was sprouting up, there were grass and weeds that grew along - some imitating the maize plant that was sprouting up. We removed them but then at a later stage, the maize plant grew taller, the weeds came up but now the stem was stronger and the weeds just remained where they were not being able to do anything as the maize plant height looked glorified overshadowing the weeds, bearing fruit still with those weeds in place.
The meaning,
In life there will always be people who talk about you, hate you for no reason or they will admire how you are walking in purpose and themselves couldn't do it when they had the chance at that age, they will try to discourage you. As they feel you are going to rise above them and they feel a sense of jealousy. As you're going to walk in your path of purpose, you will meet people who will compete with you and try to steal your vision. Whilst you think you're on the same page with them. Secretly there are working behind the scenes to oust you. Then there are those who will copy what you are doing so as to compete for the same business you're providing service for. However there is one thing no one will ever copy - your pains, hurt and experiences that made you start that career or business. That is your unique selling point. No matter their efforts that uniqueness within you is what people will always need or want. Just like the maize plant, there is a level where if you grow to, no matter what people say or do, it will never upset you because you know you're walking in your path of purpose and God is working overtime to shine your efforts and hardwork.
There is room for everyone at the top. In this life everyone can excel at something. God has given each one of us the capacity and capability to become a person of impact and influence. You just have to find your fire, why you exist. At the end of the day you don't gain anything by causing harm to someone excelling in their purpose. After this life, if you caused someone making impact to fall, know judgement is waiting for you and your future generations.
