More than 70% of people in Zimbabwe are now self employed. Entrepreneurship is the way to go... There are basics that entrepreneurs need to do.

1) Planning - the success of an business lies on proper planning. What is it that you want to do or achieve? Are the resources at your disposal good enough to achieve your plan? Do you have the capacity to go solo or u need an extra hand? These are some important questions which u need to ask your self.

2) Time Management- Time is money in business. Everything you do make sure you give it time frame. This will help you to be in control of your work activities as well as managing time well.

3) Proper Financial record keeping - Most entrepreneurs they have a weakness of not keeping financial records. You need to open a bank account so that you have a financial records which are proper. One day you may need a loan from financial institutions it will be easy if you have proof of your cash inflows. Without these records it's a mammoth task.
