As a responsible corporate citizen, Bell Petroleum, an Affiliate of The Vumba Trust, responded to an urgent call made by Borrowdale Police Station to the business community at large, for equipment required for the effective management of traffic at a roadblock.
Chief Inspector Chiripanyanga Borrowdale Police Station said “The state of our roadblock at the corner of Churchill and Borrowdale roads was increasingly becoming an eye-sore. As the Police, we reached out to the local business community for assistance to rectify the matter. We were pleasantly surprised at the responsiveness of Bell Petroleum who quickly came to our aid to supply us with the drums, poles, cones and PPE required to ensure that our police officers continue to man the roadblock with dignity and pride.”
