Day 2 of the workshop was the SovereignRe day. The focus was on mastering the Engineering class of business for all players on the insurance spectrum. The participants benefited immensely from both the presentations and the plenary session.

Engineering is a major class of business in Zambia on the back of significant investments in the mining and energy sectors. To this end the workshop in Midrand, South Africa could not have come at the most appropriate minute.

At SovereignRe we would like to thank ALL participants at our 2025 partners retreat. As we look forward to 2026, the event will be bigger and better.

SRB in partnership with FinsburyRe organized a market training focusing on Treaty Underwriting, Agriculture, Mining, Energy and Engineering for our partners from the Zambian market. Represented were various stakeholders from major clients in the target sectors, retail brokers and various cedents. Fachs Group facilitated this important market engagement and important workshop drawing from their extensive training experience.

We believe in capacitating the market through workshops. Day one of the training session was enriching for ALL the participants. This is our small way of playing a part in the development of the market in the targeted areas.
