MY TAKE ON ZAMBIA ๐Ÿ•’ 24/7 OPEN BUSINESS ECONOMY

Before I dive into the outline of my take, My Question is what Business are you planning to open to get the benefits of 24/7 Economical Business Operations?

First and foremost I applaud to the 24hrs economy move and I certainly believe it is workable if we can give it a positive attitude. As far as i know thereโ€™s a lot of business that sleeps off at nights to be continued the following day due to past working hours, the offices are closed, the shops are closed, the markets are closed, the malls are closed, Banks are closed, inshort the Business operation hours are down and closed.

Imagine closing a bank at 14hrs ๐Ÿ˜ณthat has been really a joke in the fast moving economical generation. A country that really what to develop economically you close all banks at 14hrs, the heart of Business, really a joke right?๐Ÿคฃ

With this implementation that means you can start a Business and finalize it same day. For the Transportation Sector people will be traveling at any time, Goods will be transported throughout the day, this is a plus already.

So this goes to Government to start with national planning through the security forces of the nation to firstly address safety as an assurance to get the businesses running without the fear of traders losing their resources and work on communities and Business environment to improve street lighting systems, and cameras all over the town, good road networks and this gives now city councils jobs to insure that buildings within the town have lights and are on at all nights to add lighting in town at night, Not the way Lusaka City looks currently youโ€™re passing at night Ama building nabashimya ama light ๐Ÿ’ก pakwinuka nga ni Findeco House worse yabafye yashima bu ninshi yaba mu town๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

This gives Government and huge task to, Town Clerk, Council police, the mayor and even the area member of parliament in each particular town to insure that, Criminals are Handled, Junkies and Street kids are curbed, Risk market places are monitored and the whole security is put in place. Streets everywhere, cameras every security every where then we are ready to go.

Nonetheless, without disputing the fact that this move will take us some time and even years to get there, but with time will get used and adapt to to the system, unlocking this economy by itself has already given an opportunity for people to come up with ideas and strategies to start up businesses which will open doors to the development of the economy of this country. And i believe it will increase productivity, Employment opportunities as we are aware most industries and orgazations are likely to introduce night shift which will require more youths to work in those shifts.

Of course the poor will remain poor and the rich will become richer, itโ€™s up to you to open your mind, envision the whole thing and already start thinking of what you can do to contribute to the economy once safety is no longer an issue.

I can only imagine for Hustlers who loves to move around and are only limited by the closing of businesses after 5 PM and the feeling of not being safe after hours only to have the whole entire day and night to finish up the ka Bine.

Cheers for this move๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Someone in my inbox asked me a question::::

Mr I never understood why guys that make good money want cows when guys with cows want to make good money.

๐Ÿ“ŒMy honest Answer is:

The man who has money wants cows because he understands wealth. The man who has cows wants money because he needs liquidity.

Money is cash.
Cows are assets.

Cash can disappear overnight.
Cows reproduce.

A person chasing quick money thinks money is the goal.
A person building legacy knows assets are the goal.

When you make good money and buy cows, you are converting paper into life.

๐Ÿ“ŒOne cow today
= calves tomorrow
= herd next year
= generational wealth in 10 years.

Meanwhile, someone with cows who wants money may simply want:

โ€ข School fees
โ€ข Expansion capital
โ€ข Lifestyle upgrades
โ€ข Immediate liquidity

Itโ€™s not contradiction.
Itโ€™s different levels of thinking.

Money is for spending.
Cows are for multiplying.

Thatโ€™s why serious people move from cash โ†’ assets.

And I quote

โ€œYou are not broke because you pay rent, you are broke because you are just broke.

The solution to your issues is not to build a house, the solution is to make more money.โ€

Very valid points ๐Ÿ“Œ

RENT IS NOT THE ISSUE

Here is a condensed budget for a family of 5 living in average Lusaka:

Rent - K4,000
Food - K3,000
Electricity - K500
Water - K200
Transport (parent and kids) - K4,000
Talk time - K500
School fees - K2,000
Groceries (Soap, tissue, jik, etc) - K1,000
Maid - K1,300
Barbershop/Saloon - K400
Health & Medicine - K800
Garbage - K150
Repairs and maintenance - K400

Total : 18,250

[Beer? DSTV? Black Tax? University? Birthdays? Extra lessons? Clothing? Pets?]

At K3000 to 4,000, rent is just about 16% of your monthly expenses, especially if other unlisted expenses are included. Homie, you have more than 80% of other things to sort out in the month besides rent.

May point is, many people have a "rent mindset".

They think rent is the biggest devil in their lives.

They think stopping to pay rent is the end of suffering - or that paying rent is the cause of their suffering.

Rent is just a small percentage of your total expenses if you live like most people. You can't even feel it if you are making enough money.

You are not broke because you pay rent, you are broke because you are just broke.

The solution to your issues is not to build a house, the solution is to make more money.

People in the rent mindset also think stopping to pay rent because you have a house is immunity from suffering when you lose your job or income.

How is having a house going to eliminate the rest of the 80% of monthly costs Chanda?

A house is not a back up plan to avoid suffering when s**t hits the fun, an alternative source of cash flow is.

Be enterprising. Be hustle-licious.

When the lights are off, and you can't afford breakfast, your family won't care that you are living in your own house. Suffering and hunger feels the same no matter who owns the house.

Cash flow is everything.

If you love your family, start a side hustle or something like that. Otherwise keep thinking rent is the reason why you are suffering.

So last Saturday I passed through newly opened Supermarket in Chalala and what I saw made me realize who he really his. The Supermarket contains a big Mart, A Butcherly and a Bakery.

So here is the interesting part that I saw when i entered in the Large Mart i roughly counted the workers, in Butcherly thereโ€™s also workers, security Guards and Door Bouncers plus the workers for the Bakery. Roughly 80 plus obviously, and we all know each store is full off workers now imagine the whole country as he has the Market currently in all provinces if am not mistaken.

We can simply conclude that Mr Nkole didnโ€™t just come on the market as an entrepreneur or Business Man to make money and profits but to help the suffering youths of Zambia.

Imagine how Many families is he feeding, currently His Business is among the top 5 Private Companies with thousands of employees if not second to Government.๐Ÿ˜ณ

Imagine the prices of his products the marginal profits it clearly shows that heโ€™s an entrepreneur who just understood the Zambian market to Dominate the customer base on top of ShopRite, PnP Chopies and so on. His aim is all about accommodating youths for atleast to earn a Living.

Entrepreneurs come with initiatives to change lives of people Business people come with the intentions of making profits and sustain their lives.

Mr Nkole is really a Bonafide Zambian Entrepreneur who has impacted so many Lives. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Continue with your Good work Sir.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
