Meet Dhruv Darji a Brilliant Mind Indeed

"Mr Darji is a familiar figure to most of us in the medical journey.

He is a 7th Year Medical student who was the first medical student to graduate with a distinction under the GPA scoring system at UNZA. He also served as the UNZAMEDSA President in the recent former executive. Today, he completed his Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH). Additionally, he was awarded the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford University should he apply and get accepted.

Indeed, he is the definition of "Academic Giant".

This is my young man in whom I am well pleased! Emmanuel Mwanza.

He calls me one day and says "Mr. Banda, I am inspired by your works. My desire is that you heal quickly. I would like to make a contribution towards your India trip".

Shortly after, he makes a significant contribution towards my India trip with my wife in January last year.

I have known Emmanuel for 4 years now and have been closely monitoring his business progression.

Emmanuel, for a number of you that may not know him is the Founder and CEO of E-Mark , probably one of the most trending and fastest growing electronic and gadget stores in Zambia!

My first encounter with him was when he sought to meet me. We met, had great conversations around his business ideas and how he intended to build his company. I was astonished that a man of his age could dream so big!

By the way, Emmanuel conceptualized and actioned his business dream whilst at UNZA studying Business Administration with Economics. He narrated to me his ups and downs and how, still at UNZA, his business was way over a K100,000.00 in valuation at only between 20 and 21 years of age! He is not even 30 yet today!

Today, I seek to recognize the young men and women that I have directly or indirectly mentored over years in their progressive endeavours that I continue to witness.

Mentorship is pointless if nothing ever starts.

Remember, in my book 'We Don't Just Become', I emphasize on the narrative, "The best way to begin is to begin".

Most of you will ask me questions like:

☑️How can I start?
☑️I don't have money enough, where can I access?
☑️I have this....but I don't know how to get customers. How can I......?

My response has always been that BEGIN.

Emmanuel, I am super proud of your achievements thus far and without a doubt, you are creating a strong legacy or a 'mark' if you like! 👏👏
