𝗔 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Last Friday, we had the privilege of recognising colleagues who achieved more than 100% of their sales budgets at the mid-year point, as at June 2026.

As leaders, it is important not only to set ambitious expectations, but also to pause and acknowledge those who deliver exceptional results.

These awards celebrate more than sales performance. They recognise ownership, perseverance, consistency, discipline and the willingness to go the extra mile.

We are delighted to introduce Julius Kaputa, who assumed the role of Livingstone Branch Manager at General Alliance Insurance Zambia Limited in May 2026. With over 15 years of experience spanning insurance sales, marketing, underwriting, branch management, and regional operations, Julius brings extensive industry expertise and leadership experience that will support growth and operational excellence in one of our key regional markets.

Julius is a results-driven insurance professional recognized for growing business portfolios, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and leading high-performing teams. His experience enables him to identify opportunities, implement effective business strategies, and deliver customer-focused solutions that enhance service delivery and profitability.

Prior to joining General Alliance Insurance, Julius served as Assistant Manager – Choma Branch and Southern Province at Hollard General Insurance Zambia, where he oversaw underwriting operations, regional marketing activities, premium collections, and claims administration. He played a key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening client relationships, and supporting business growth across the province.

Before joining Hollard, Julius progressed through several leadership roles at Meanwood General Insurance, advancing from Marketing Executive to Branch Manager and later Regional Manager – Southern Province, where he led business growth initiatives, strengthened broker and client relationships, and oversaw provincial operations.

Julius began his insurance career with ZSIC as a Sales Representative, building a strong foundation in customer engagement, business development, and portfolio growth.

Julius holds a Diploma in Insurance and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Zambia Open University, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Last weekend, General Alliance Insurance was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Polo Tournament held at the Polo Club along leopards hill road in Lusaka.

It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with players, spectators, and fellow sponsors while showcasing our brand and strengthening relationships within the community.

From the thunder of hooves to the elegance and precision of the game, the event was an unforgettable celebration of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and timeless style. We were delighted to connect with participants and share how General Alliance Insurance continues to provide trusted insurance solutions for individuals and businesses alike.

We are excited to introduce Fabian Malasha, who assumed the role of Solwezi Branch Manager at General Alliance Insurance effective 1st April 2026. He brings over 10 years of experience across underwriting, claims management, fraud detection, and operational improvement—expertise that positions him to lead branch operations and drive regional performance.

Fabian is a results-driven insurance professional known for managing complex claims environments, strengthening risk controls, and improving operational efficiency. His experience enables him to analyse business needs, implement process improvements, and deliver customer-focused solutions that enhance service delivery and profitability.

Prior to his current role, Fabian served as Account and Claims Executive at General Alliance Insurance Kitwe Branch, where he oversaw end-to-end claims management across motor, property, medical, and commercial lines. He played a key role in improving claims turnaround times, strengthening fraud detection, and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient claims handling.

Before joining General Alliance, Fabian held multiple roles at Advantage Insurance Zambia, including Underwriting Executive, Underwriting Administrator, and Claims Executive. During his tenure, he contributed to underwriting performance, reduced loss ratios, strengthened fraud detection systems, and supported acquisition and retention of high-value clients.

Fabian is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Zambia and has several advanced certifications in insurance, risk management, reinsurance, and digital financial systems. His professional development reflects his commitment to innovation and efficiency.

He is recognized for his analytical mindset, professionalism, stakeholder engagement, and ability to build high-performing teams. His leadership style is grounded in accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
