Fedgroup has helped fund a major solar installation for Coega Steels through a R51.8 million private capital deal, delivered with Emergent Energy.

The 7.1 MWp project is expected to generate around 9.3 GWh in year one and deliver roughly R19.2 million in first-year electricity savings.

For a business that runs around the clock, that means more than cleaner energy. It means greater resilience, less pressure from rising electricity costs and infrastructure built for the real economy.

Fedgroup has secured R500m in Industrial Development Corporation - backed funding for the Fedgroup Renewables Capital Fund.

This funding helps support renewable infrastructure connected to real businesses, and real energy needs real economic activity.
