On the 4th and 5th of October 2023, we successfully launched the Zambia International Agriculture Financing & Investment Summit (ZIAFIS 2023) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC).
We were honored to have the Hon. Makozo Chikota, Minister of Fisheries & Livestock as our Guest of Honor and to do the official opening on behalf of his counterpart, Hon. Reuben Phiri Mtolo, Minister of Agriculture.
The ZIAFIS Summit Brand will be an annual event that is aimed at bringing together Agri-Stakeholders, from both Public and Private Sector to deliberate and set practical solutions on how to take Zambia’s Agri sector to world class level. ZIAFIS It’s a platform where financiers (DFIs, Investment Banks, Private Equity & Venture Capital firms, Family Offices and Private Investors MEET Small, Medium & Commercial Farmers to talk about Capital/Investments vs Opportunities available, Agro-Processing, Post -Harvest Technologies and Access to Markets. The challenges that stand in the way for Farmers to access Financing and attract Investment Partnerships, Possible Solutions on what can be done to move this elephant in room.
