I often come across clients that don’t have a will in place or that has a will that is poorly drafted.

So what is the big deal, what happens if you pass away without a will?

Passing away without a will means that you lose control over what happens with your life’s work. When you pass away without a will your estate falls into Inte-State; which means the government takes control of your estate and your loved ones do not get looked after the way you intended to.

Getting a will drafted and updated is free.

The majority of poorly drafted wills have terms that are not executable and/or unenforceable by the executor of the estate. This may cause unnecessary delays and complications in finalizing your estate.

Another common occurrence is unnecessary costs & taxes or expensive structures. All these unnecessary costs add up and only diminish the funds that were meant for the ones you leave behind.
