I'm Christiaan Diedericks, founder and CEO of Wise Oak Consulting.

I wanted to start my own consulting business in 2007, but my corporate comfort zone stole my passion. Luckily, in return, my corporate career span of almost eleven years at a multinational FMCG company, with over 390 offices and 25 factories world wide, prepared me for my new venture. finance, marketing, sales and factory supply chain management. A few noteworthy accomplishments:
- Cofound and managed a JV distribution startup
- Project lead on an ERP system rollout in Zambia for 7 months during 2014/15

I'm a SAIPA registered accountant since 2006 and a tax practitioner. Technology is the way forward, therefore I use cloud accounting.

SARS Media Release - Tax Season 2018
According to the Acting Commissioner: Mark Kingon, SARS has been hard at work taking stock of how we can be more efficient and improve service to taxpayers. This requires that we make better use of our resources and technology, while factoring in feedback from taxpayers on what their pain-points are.Our main objective is to make tax compliance a simple and routine experience for the taxpayer.
