The Cardinal Crew recently stepped away from their desks and onto the trails as part of our Cardinal Moves initiative.

Cardinal Moves was created to encourage balance across the business. In a world of packed calendars, long meetings, and constant deadlines, making space for movement matters.

Teams across the business took part, from Inland in Johannesburg to our Coastal teams in Cape Town, KwaZulu Natal, Port Elizabeth and the Free State, as well as colleagues joining from our international offices in Australia, the United Kingdom and Mauritius.

It was a great reminder that while we work across different regions and time zones, we are still one team moving forward together.

Meet the – Lindie Ungerer, Head of Support

With more than 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, Lindie leads Cardinal’s Support function, overseeing a dedicated team of support agents and ensuring our clients receive reliable, responsive service. Her role focuses on developing and implementing support strategies that meet customer needs, resolving complex issues, and working closely with cross functional teams across Product and Development to continuously improve support processes.

What Lindie enjoys most is making a positive impact on customers by resolving issues timeously, mentoring and developing her team to reach their full potential, and tackling complex challenges with practical, creative solutions. She values the opportunity to collaborate across teams to drive improvement and innovation that translates into meaningful outcomes for both customers and the business.

One of Lindie’s proudest achievements has been implementing changes that significantly improved customer satisfaction scores, alongside building and growing a high performing support team that consistently delivers exceptional service. Her focus on innovation and excellence continues to strengthen how Cardinal supports its clients every day.
