Greater Tubatse-Fetakgomo CFI establishment is the process of establishing a Cooperatives Financial Services Cooperative for SMMEs and Cooperatives including communities in Tubatse and Fetakgomo area.SMMEs and Cooperatives or Community members in these aras are encouraged to participate in this Cooperative whih will later merge with other CFIs around Sekhukhune District to form the Greater Sekhukhune Cooperative Bank.Consultation meetings will be held and workshops will be conducted through roadshows to mobilise and market the concept and establishment to all communities in Tu atse and Fetakgomo so that we give a chance to all SMMEs and Cooperatives with communities an understanding on the concept and importance of having such an entity within our communities.The interim committee will be established within the interestes members with necessary skills to offer to this important entity ofthe citizen.The process and this page will be terminated as soon as the CFI is fully registered with the Cooperatives Banks Development Agency.
The joining fee and subscription fee to be a shareholder and a member of this CFI will be decided by members in the establishment meeting as soon as it is held which is planned for end of November and will be communicated soonest.
The success of this CFI will ensure the independance,selfhelp and autonomy of SMMEs and Cooperatives within our communities.
We therefore invite all SMMEs,Cooperatives and Community members in Tubatse and Fetakgomo areas to join hands in establishing their own Finañcial Services Provision Entity that can work better for them to save money and provide loans on terms decided by them.
