Rheebok Bricks

Rheebok Bricks RHEEBOK BRICK is the largest clay brick manufacturer between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Rheebok Brick produces approximately 4 million bricks a month.

It is situated on the Garden Route between Mossel Bay and George in the small town of Great Brak and has been operational for over 40 years. Our range of products are NFP (non face plaster bricks), NFX (non face extra brick), Clinkers, Rheebok semi face and the Maxi Brick. We also recently joined forces with Corobrick in an effort to provide our customers with a more diversified range of products.

This is an important step in the right direction as Corobrick is the leader in face brick manufacturing and supplies in South Africa. We insure timely delivery of products to our clients by means of a well maintained fleet of trucks that deliver from Plettenberg Bay right up until Still Bay. The factory has 120 employees and also caters for the families of some 60 of them by providing accommodation for them. A children’s playground is provided while schooling facilities are in close proximity. Our labour turnover is very low which means we have not only loyal staff but, due to the continued training that takes place, we enjoy a company comprised of highly qualified artisans, skilled truck drivers and competent machine operators that help us provide high level of service and delivery. We subscribe to the Government Mining Charter and adhere to all its requirements. This means involvement in the local community as well as our participation in projects in Mossel Bay. We are members of both the Clay Brick Association and Master Builders Association adhering to their rules, regulations and high standards. The production of our bricks is in full compliance with the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS 227 – 1986)
