This is a golf day that means a little more to me than most.

Yes, we are proud to have Consult Gonubie involved, but this time our biggest motivation isn’t networking or getting our brand out there. It’s about helping an organisation that desperately needs the support of our community.

McClelland Adult Centre is currently facing incredibly challenging circumstances. The thought of an organisation like this no longer being there is difficult to comprehend, particularly when you consider the impact it would have on the special needs individuals who depend on McClelland, and on their families.

The golf day on 16 October at Olivewood is an opportunity to raise much-needed funds, but hopefully it becomes something bigger than one day.

We need to create awareness. We need businesses and individuals to get involved. And, most importantly, we need that support to continue long after the last putt has dropped.

So I’m personally asking my friends, clients, colleagues and service providers to please support this golf day, or one of the initiatives that will follow.
