Trauma Support Centre

The idea of the trauma support centre was borne out of the realization that during an unexpected traumatic event, there is little or no support for families and friends affected by this crisis. The onsite experiences gained by our trauma counsellor and a former detective in the SAPS child protection unit contributed to the business model of offering trauma support services to people in crisis. Th

e service we offer includes:

• 1:1 and group critical incident debriefings (CSID)

• Group workshops

• Power stations (20 min recharge / de-stress)

• Bloos pressure and blood sugar testing stations

• Follow up debriefing

• Cleanup of premises after a traumatic event according to the National Environmental Health By Law Procedures and Regulations. These incident as defined as bio hazardous and would include:

- Homicide clean-up

- Suicide clean-up

- Unattended death clean-up

- Natural causes death, injury or accident clean-up

- Hoarding/distressed properties/filth clean-up

• Dispose of all bio hazard materials according to health and safety regulations

• Assist with the completion of insurance documentation

• Co-ordinate quotes for additional services e.g. re-painting, re-carpeting etc


The Trauma Support Centre has the necessary on call, experienced trauma counsellors, resources, cleaning equipment and chemicals to limit the physical and logistical impact of the traumatic event.
