With a deep understanding of our values and vision, Mr. Kandil is perfectly poised to lead the Philippine market. His journey with us has been nothing short of inspiring, and we’re thrilled to see him touch more lives and provide more innovative solutions for all Filipinos. He brings over 26 years of extensive executive experience in the insurance industry and a successful tenure as CEO of AXA Egypt where he oversaw four companies: AXA Egypt Investment, AXA Egypt Life, AXA Egypt Non-Life, and AXA Egypt Services. His visionary ‘one-stop shop’ strategy, coupled with his relentless commitment to customers, has made waves for over two million individuals and businesses.

Incumbent CEO Bernardo Serrano shall transition to a new role within AXA by September 30, 2024, two years after he successfully set the stage for sustainable and profitable growth for AXA Philippines, while leaving a strong leadership team and talent bench.
