When clients become friends… 💕

One of my favourite things about being a mortgage broker is that sometimes your clients become friends and I feel so lucky when they do. 🥰

My gorgeous friend popped in the other day with fresh eggs from her very own chickens 🐔🥚💕 … because apparently mortgage broking now comes with an egg delivery service! 😂

And as if that wasn't enough, her amazing little boy designed and made me my very own personalised “Uber” bag! 🥹💕

Honestly, these are the things that make running my own business so special. ❤️

Yes, I’m here to help with the mortgages, refinancing, car loans and all the numbers… but the relationships, friendships and little moments along the way are what I love most.

From clients → to friends → to fresh eggs and personalised bags! 😂🥚👜

💗 Meet Chloe! 💗

Next up in my little "Meet the Kerr Family" series is my eldest, Chloe 🥰💕

Chloe is my firstborn and, as much as I hate to admit it, she's growing up and becoming more independent by the day 😭💗

She has always loved performing and is incredibly talented when it comes to musical theatre 🎭✨ Not only does she perform herself, but she also teaches musical theatre and is a very talented choreographer too! 💃🕺🥹

One of my favourite memories recently was our little adventure to see Taylor Swift in Sydney 🎤✨ We piled into the car with friends and drove all the way from Brisbane to Sydney for the concert! 🚗😂

And that red and black outfit? ❤️🖤✨

I stitched every single one of those sequins myself! 😂🙈 Let's just say there was a LOT of sewing involved!

Chloe also recently hit another huge milestone and passed her driving test 🚗🎉

Which means she's now out and about in her own car... a very exciting moment for Chloe and a slightly nerve-wracking one for Mum 😂🙈

She's creative, talented, independent and always keeps life interesting 💗

And although I'm definitely not ready for how quickly my babies are growing up 😭, I am incredibly proud of the young woman Chloe is becoming 🥹💕

📍 A little tip for my fellow small business owners... have you checked your Google Business Profile lately? 👀

I actually did this myself recently and gave mine a little refresh, and honestly, it's such a simple thing to do but so worthwhile! 🙌💗

For local customers, your Google Business Profile can often be one of the first things they see when they're searching for your business, sometimes even before they visit your website! 💻✨

So I spent a few minutes checking that everything was up to date:

🕒 Opening hours
📸 Photos
✔️ Services
📍 Business details

It honestly only took me about 10 minutes, and it gave me peace of mind knowing everything is accurate and actually reflects my business as it is now 🥰

💡 Definitely worth adding to your to-do list this week if you haven't looked at yours for a while!
