One of my absolute favourite events of the year is the North Lakes Lions Club Children of Courage Awards. ⭐💛

These awards recognise some truly incredible children who have been through difficult times and shown amazing courage and resilience.

For the past few years, my family and I have been proud to support the awards by providing a backpack for each of the deserving award recipients and filling them with lots of fun goodies and surprises. 🎒🎁

It’s a real family effort choosing all the backpacks and goodies, packing them up and hopefully bringing a little extra excitement and happiness to some very special kids.

I feel incredibly lucky to be involved in such a wonderful event and can't wait to celebrate these amazing young people and everything they have overcome. ❤️⭐

A huge thank you to the North Lakes Lions Club for organising such a special event and recognising these incredible children in our community.

I’ve been taking a little time to recover from surgery, although I’ve still been keeping an eye on anything urgent along the way. Now I’m feeling better and excited to be getting back into the swing of things and catching up with everyone again! ✨

The RBA has held the cash rate at 4.35%. With house prices stagnating and declining in some areas and interest rates remaining elevated compared to the start of the year, is now a good time to buy?

If you've been holding your breath, you can exhale. At least for now.
A hold doesn't mean rates are coming down. It means the RBA is watching and waiting to see whether the economy responds to the rises already in place. That can take time.
What it means for you right now: your repayments aren't going up today. But if you haven't reviewed your loan recently, a hold is actually a good moment to do it while things are steady.
