Ya know all those ads you hear about cutting your bills in half by replacing windows? Not so fast! According to this Farmer's Electric Coop article, the typical homeowner only saves about $8 a month by replacing all of their windows!

I would still go for it if you have those old single-pane aluminum windows...those really ARE bad-looking as well as bad at efficiency, but otherwise, there are WAY better ways to make your home more efficient!
