- Ensure your primary care provider, dentist, and specialists are in the plan’s network.
-Confirm the plan's eligibility in your county.
-If you require services like adult foster care, check that the agency is in-network to avoid delays and cancellations.

✅ Types of Coverage Available:

-Senior care options include plans from United Healthcare, Tufts, CCA (Commonwealth Care Alliance), and NaviCare from Fallon Health.
-Understand the differences, particularly in networks and dental coverage. Some plans offer varying amounts on over-the-counter cards, which can impact your choices.

✅ Medicare Advantage Plans:

-Learn about HMO and PPO options, eligibility for Medicare Part A and B, and the importance of MassHealth.

✅ Common Misunderstandings About SCO Plans:

-Many believe they will lose MassHealth or that SCOs are supplemental plans. It's crucial to know they become your primary insurance.

I received a thank you card in the mail today,
Inside it reads “Dear Joy, thank you for helping us”

I dont usually share the gratitude and feedback I receive from my clients, I guess to me everything I do for my community feels natural and often times I overlook the importance of the work that I do. Today I decided to share this message because I felt so much gratitude in my heart and realized that what I do is not irrelevant, on the contrary, it is a very important aspect of one’s health journey.
