This year I had the pleasure of advising a Junior Leadership team through Leadership Northeast. This group has been working diligently throughout the winter to raise money for Dinner 4 Kids: a local charity that provides meals for underprivileged families in NEPA.

A lot of people think switching insurance companies is a huge hassle… but it’s actually pretty simple!

If your rates keep going up, your coverage doesn’t really fit anymore, or you just want better service, you’re not stuck where you are.

Whenever someone asks me to take a look at their auto insurance one of my first questions is "Do you know what your limits are?" and it's usually followed with a long pause and "Uhhhh I have full coverage"
.....Do you?!

Too many people think just having an auto policy with minimum coverage is enough. What if I told you just because you have higher limits, does NOT necessarily mean you will pay more? Reach out to talk about increasing your coverage and SAVING MONEY!

When I was still in school I had a lot of help from great people starting my own business. From then on, I knew I always wanted to do something to help other businesses, but didn't have a clue how. Finally, after a few years I found myself interviewing for a commercial insurance position. If you ever told me I would be working in the world of insurance a few years ago, I would have said you're crazy!! Turns out, this was the perfect position for what I wanted to do.

Insurance is about being there when it matters most. We don’t just provide coverage; we provide guidance, support, and peace of mind so people and their businesses can move forward with confidence.

Which brings me to today. I’m grateful to be part of The Shay Agency! I recently came across an interview with my boss, Sean, where he talks about how clients become part of the “Shay Family.” Having had Sean as my agent for years for both my personal and commercial policies (and now working alongside him) I can confidently say that couldn’t be more true.
We’re not just an insurance agency; we’re a family built on helping others with their personal and commercial needs. I’m excited to be a part of this agency and to see where 2026 takes us!!
