In 2008, Kevin Lee Bass passed away, leaving a legacy of academic and athletic accomplishment along with community involvement. In his honor, the Kevin Lee Bass Scholarship Fund was established to inspire the youth of our community to pursue higher education. He attended Alexander Hamilton High School in Elmsford. After graduation, he excelled both academically and athletically at Iona College, wh

ere he was inducted into the Iona College Goal Club Hall of Fame. Kevin mentored many young people by teaching them basketball skills, providing financial support, teaching life lessons and supplying job leads to help them along their way. OUR ANNUAL SUMMER FUNDRAISER

Every summer we will be host our annual Scholarship Fundraiser. This community function serves as the primary fundraising tool to support the fund which has awarded scholarships to five scholars to date. It is an event that brings together family, friends, businesses and community, for the benefit of a very worthy student-athlete. Over the past five years, Kevin Bass’ friends and family have awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships to local Alexander Hamilton high school students headed to college.
