Mediation Win Today!
Just settled a claim for one of my insureds for $35,000, up from the insurance company’s initial $10,000 offer. This was a tough case, especially because the homeowner unknowingly had a 1% matching endorsement buried in their policy.

For those unfamiliar, a 1% matching endorsement is a clause that limits the insurance company’s responsibility when materials—like roofing, siding, or flooring—don’t exactly match the undamaged portions of your home. If less than 1% of that material is affected, they won’t pay to make everything match—leaving you with mismatched repairs and thousands in potential out-of-pocket costs.

We pushed through, challenged their position, and made sure our client got what they actually needed to restore their home the right way.
